Continental Discontinue Bristol to Newark Flights

What a shame - another regional flight route to the US comes to an end!

Continental airways are stopping their schedule flights from Bristol to Newark from 7th November 2010. Anyone who has already booked flights for after that dates can ask for their money back or transfer to another route.

This was a handy regional route to Orlando via Newark and means that the regional options are getting harder to find. There are still options to fly from Manchester and Birmingham with various airlines though for those who find London airports inconvenient.

Weather in Orlando

It's a lovely sunny day in Orlando today - a maximum of 86 F or 30C - a perfect day for relaxing by the pool or heading over to one of the water parks.

This is one of the great things about staying at the villa with its own pool and spa. The kids can splash about while you relax on the extended sun deck with the latest blockbuster. There's always a cold beer or chilled soda in the large fridge so no need to move too far - unless you want to of course.

How about a round of golf - the 9 hole executive course runs right through Esprit and offers very reasonable rates. Or head on over to the tennis and basketball courts - located right next to the community pool.

For those looking for a bit more actions, the villa is within easy reach of all the attractions. On a hot day like today the water parks are a big attraction. Choose from two Disney water parks - Blizzard Beach with its Winter Sports theme has some great slides - Typhoon Lagoon has a shipwrecked theme and features a great tidal wave pool. The new Aquatica water park - located up near Sea World - is a great new addition and has some fabulous slides - you can even slide through the dolphin pool. Finally, that old favourite, Wet 'n Wild - packed full of slides and activities for all the family.

Whatever your preference, you'll find it here in Orlando, Florida.
